Get the Corsair II. It was one of the best receivers the ever made. On the up side it could be repaired and aligned by the owner. It was fairly stable after warm up. A lot more stable than most. Neat
Get an Omni V. A new Scout with the modules necessary to cover the same frequencies as an Omni V will cost approximately the same as a used Omni V--but with the Omni V you get lots more horsepower--

The Omni V is a pile compared to the Corsair II and Omni VI. If I had a choice btwn the Scout and the V, I'd take the V. Save your money and buy a real nice T-T--pick up a nice used Omni C or Corsair
