This will work and I found an even cheaper way. Use a small paper clip. Just cut off what you need and fasten it under one of the screw heads so it rubs on the shaft. Looks downright professional. N4

Great idea for shaft grounding spring. (The lowly paper clip.) They also are the computer disk removal tool, and many other tool and electronic applications as test leads, test pins for sockets, etc.
