I have an Omni VI that works real well, but seems not to be tracking the exmit and rec frequency correctly with my RIT off. I seem to have about a fifty Hz difference. I am using the RIT to correct t

Hi Art, If you are talking about in SSB mode, in theory it cannot be wrong, because all of the oscillators in use for TX are the same and have the same logical commands applied to them when in RX mod

Ken Its about 50Hz off on SSB. Seems like a strange problem because, like you said, they use the same oscillators. The receiver is high. Not sure what to look at. Rig seems to perform fine in all oth

I have had the same feeling with my 2 Omni 6's (one now traded on an Orion). I've contested seriously with these for over 10 years, and when I'm CQing, I seem to always end up with RIT a bit minus. I

Back when I had my Omni VI+, I reported a "firmware" problem to TT regarding the XIT. When XIT is engaged, the offset frequency on RX is 300 Hz off - or perhaps it was the XIT which was 300 Hz off wh

Hi Doug, I want to understand how this can be. It is not making sense to me. Here is what I know, from the Omni VI schematics, and from reason: In SSB modes there is no change, between transmit and r
