Hi -- great radio. Did you look on the front panel board? I am not sure, myself, but it seems like I remember somebody saying it is located on the vertical board in the front, and not on the horizont

Usually, batteries are near/ on the CPU/ memory board. Where the control micro resides. I am pretty sure they have either a physical battery or one of those FARAD capacitors, a virtual battery. Stuar
