Since I have loaded the new v2.05x software, there is something weird going on. The Orion keys the Acom fine on 20 and higher. But on 40 through 160 when I hit the key, the Acom goes into "Arc Fault"

The only way to get an arc fault on an Acom is to actually have a place where the RF is causing an arc. I have had arc failts with my Acom 1000 and I always find some place where the antenna or feedl

The filter does wonders on the early Orions. The other alternative is to use a small program that Krazy (sp?) at Acom has written for software control. I don't have it, but he mentioned it at Dayton
