I am doing my first firmware update on my Orion II, my first Ten Tec rig. I started the update about 10 or 15 minutes ago. What is the highest com port setting that I can use? I have mine set at 115,

If you're using Windoze XP, you don't need to set up the port -- the Install program does it automatically. The Orion runs by default at 57K, not 115K. The update shouldn't take more than 2-3 minutes

The update took me about 10 minutes at 9600 baud, using Win 98SE. Next time I'll try re-setting it to 56K. No way should it take you as long as it is. 73, Ray W2RS ___________________________________
