- Remove the front panel and remove all the connectors, spray them with a good contact cleaner, then plug and unplug them several times. That has fixed several Orion's lately. Carl Moreschi N4PY 121 Li

- My Orion 2 had the same problem in July 2009. Ten Tec found and replaced bad filters on the IF converter board and that solved the problem. 73, Chris K4osk the S-meter appears to have settled to zero

- Thanks Carl and Mike for your suggestions. I have verified that I have a good 13.8 vdc supply voltage. I also replaced the battery and removed the front panel and cleaned the connectors. No joy ... N
