The N4PY software is better. The remote is very useful and the N4PY software handles the remote much better then the Ten Tec software. The pegasus is very good for digital modes. I use soundcard mode

I think you will find Carl, N4PY's software brings out more features with the GUI and is much easier to use. Although, TenTec makes the source code available for folks to work with and experiment. I
