I would look for any loose hardware on the chassis, boards, or PTO mounting screws. There could be an electrical problem, too, like maybe the 12 V supply to the Scout take a voltage dip due to a loos

Same as other Ten Tec ptos. If it gets wobbly on the air, clean out the old grease and make sure the bearings are good, and regrease. I prefer Dow 44 high temperature ball bearing grease, as it does

I might add that the Scout has a grounding spring wire that floats on the threaded tuning shaft. If your freq jiggles during tuning, but remains stable otherwise, this will need cleaning so that good
