Craig, I do not think you could go wrong with an Orion. I have had mine since August and love it. I also own an Icom 766 PRO II and an Icom 775DSP. The Orion is my first choice for working DX on 160

Is the "few db" in receiver performance worth the considerable the easier the receiver is on the ears, the better i like it ...after nearly 50 years of listening i am convinced the Orion is the best
