Well, true, but it is broke. And I know broke. Seems to work just fine, but when a load is impressed upon it, it goes wacky. I see about 6.7 vpp of ac on the filter cap, and yes tried another cap in

Sorry, I missed that, didn't read as carefully as I should have. :) Even though you tried a cap, I still suspect the cap. But I DON'T think the chassis bond is part of the problem. 73, Jim K9YC _____

Be sure the screws on the filter cap are very tight. Also tighten the screws in the bracket that hold the filter cap mounted to the chassis. 73 Bob K4TAX _____________________________________________
