Unfortunately you are quite correct. The Orion specs mention that CW rise time is adjustable from 3ms to 10ms...which it is NOT. The MENU SELECTION is adjustable from 3ms to 10ms, but the rf waveform

Sinisa: In general, I think that you are correct. ALL COMPANIES should meet their specs, but, sadly, few do. This applies across the board, not just to ham radios. But, I am satisfied with my Orion.
