I have read many of the posts dealing with hi/lo cut on the Orion. However, just when I thought I had it figured out, I am a little confused again. I basically have correlated the hi/lo cut functions

Ditto ! I have yet to figure out the beast ! my high cut lo cut on the Kenwood 870 and 940 were much easier . I have not yet been able to use these controls to help with qrm . John kb2huk -- Original

The locut and hicut controls are really for SSB and not CW. They move the passband just on one side of the passband, where as PBT moves both sides in the same direction. When you move the hicut contr
