- Very interesting. My understanding of the datasheet is that they are good for 50 mating/unmating cycles and temperature at the junction will rise by 30 degrees with a current of 18A (when within the

- These are what existed when the radios were built. 50 cycles seems like a lot, unless it is for a mobile radio that is in and out every day. Glenn AE0Q <http://www.avg.com/email-signature?utm_medium=

- Do we know why these connectors were chosen for 100W radios and the Hercules II amplifier, with little or no margin as the connector ages? As an engineer who was employed during those days, you have

- Good morning Jim, for the most part you are correct with your comments. The molex connector for the remote input on the Herc 2 are no longer available. Molex had a kit #76650-0070 which had both a ma

- Sorry, no. My comment about availability was based on my experience about ten years ago chasing down the parts for the Herc II power connector. 73, Jim On 12/23/2018 5:22 AM, P.C. Anderson wrote: Goo

- Thanks Jim, I found the connectors not reliable enough when they get old... but perhaps nobody was expecting radios lasting as long as some of ours, or maybe it was decided to keep the molex in order
