Lane, not to rain on your parade, but I suspect you have two chances of hooking 8 diverse power supplies in parallel and having (1) it work and (2) all your supplies remain smoke-free: slim and none.
I have one or two suggestions. Increase your fire insurance policy to the replacement value of your home then go seek professional electrical and psychological help. Power supplies are not batteries.

About the only way you will be able to parallel power supplies is if they have essentially identical regulator circuits and essentially identical regulator circuit gains, and truly effective current
I have two Astron 50 Amp supplies in parallel to run my Hercules. These supplies are designed to run in parallel and there is a sense wire run between the two to keep everything in balance. Jim --Ori
