I bet you have an alarm system or other phone device that has a panic (call 911) function. RF is getting in and triggering this function. No way your ham gear can dial 911 by itself! 73 Martin AA6E _

We respond to quite a few 911 calls that are caused by the equipment. We found that "some" older cordless phones dial 911 for some reason when their batteries are nearly exhausted. Mike, W9WIS == --
