- That sounds like your power output is down just enough that you can't reach the ALC threshhold with ALC at maximum. I bet this is not a problem on the lower frequencies. Carl Moreschi N4PY 121 Little

- Jeff, I would check the diodes in the RF pickup circuit, one diode may have failed. If that is not the cause, then a complete examination of the ALC components would be the next step. Diodes used for
