I do not believe that would work very well in practice. Try a quick test of your own: Wind 90 close wound turns 3" diameter ( the same as a single Slinky). Then attempt to stretch out over 35' or so

I wouldnt know, I dont use a tuner or transmit on them. At 8' above ground how much can they move in relation to ground.....particularly if in the woods? I prefer to use them to hear DX, not analyze
