- I have had great success with using counterweights made from plastic jars filled with concrete and a coathanger loop to tie to. plenty of give in the wind, yet maintains tension on the antenna wire.

- Jack, I used two 21 foot chain link fence rails, bolted with 1/4" lag bolts to 8 foot landscape timbers sunk at least 3 feet into the ground. I ran a bakstay of dacron cord from near the top of each.
