I had the rather dubious privilege of installing some 800MHz gear in the Sears Tower (or whatever they call it now).   Did not get to the base of the antennas, but the view from the roof top was spec

Years ago (I mean >30) there was an article in one of the ham mags to add an antenna tuner to the Heath AM-2 SWR meter. IIRC, it consisted of a tapped coil and two variable caps. All parts to fit in
