I got 6 45G sections, a 45AG4 top section, an SB45G base section, and misc. brackets/hardware/guy anchors from National Tower last year and the freight was <$200. I thought this was quite reasonable

The 1/4" stuff should be plenty strong enough. I used 1/4" on my 70' 45G according to Rohn's specs. They specify thinner (3/16 ?) on the lower set of guys, but I bought the wire in a 500' roll so wh

I feel anyone with a long mast who DOESN'T use this two bearing technique is foolishly asking for trouble. A tower is not cheap anyway so spend the extra bucks for safety. There is absolutely NO WAY
