You want to paint tower bases go to it. However, I beg you not to paint concrete steps & walks. Unless you use the 'sand' paint or other textured gripper paint. You can't imagine how slippery painted

I would say if you can, build a Moxon. I use the R L Cebik design on 30m. Homebrew from cobbled yagi parts in my case. It just works. Works really well. If I had the chance I'd build one for 40m. K9I
