At my new QTH in Mt Airy MD I've become much more interested in wind speed and direction. It really howls here in general and I'm in the open on a hilltop so it's worse here than generally reported.
Is this a temporary installation or intended to be long term. What's the diameter and material of the HF vertical? jim ab3cv _______________________________________________ __________________________
My RAK-1 generates a lot of RFI on 6m while rotating, making it impossible to hear while it's moving. Beam is about 2 ft above the rotor. Some of it is due to the start/stop PWM ramp from the GHE con

To avoid abrasion and cracks on corners I sleeved my CCS with copper tubing available at hobby shops. There's usually a size for a nice slip fit. jim ab3cv ___________________________________________
In my opinion the difference between connected and disconnected of only 2db shows that you are marginal and likely impacting your RX performance. stay safe! jim ab3cv ________________________________

Since you have a GHE RT21 make sure your ramp starts at a higher point in the winter to kick it loose and get things moving. When at 10% starting my RAK would work fine in the summer but was "frozen"

Can these be nested or will they destroy each other's pattern? I would hope that the non-resonant Hi-Z nature of these would lend them to nesting. I ask because I might be able to squeeze in the 160
