Was helping a friend move into a rental property. She had a paid crew moving appliances and heavy furniture. I went down into the basement to see how things were going and noticed some arcing noise.
I would use a small, soft hammer to crush any thicker places. Not trying to knock it off, just crush it in place. Using the minimum of force needed. It may take a while if there is a thicker amount.

Best method would be a O-scope with H input to ant 1 and V input to ant 2. Use feedline, identical length and characteristics. Feed the same low level signal to both antennas with whatever switching
