- I use the preforms on synthetic and steel guy lines for years with no problem. I have never seen a utility pole or wire on the ground because of a failure. Make your own with UV resistant line. _____

- I think the thrust bearing subject is about the top section of ROHN 25G towers. My mast was 1.5" pipe with a sink tailpiece split spiral like and applied to the mast. Wheel bearing grease and a rubbe

- I use the grips from the power company with 5/16 line on my tower guys. tri-ex sm40 with yaesu rotor and LPDA. I use some contrasting tape as indicators on the lines, no slippage. ___________________

- Do some testing for noise levels before its to late! I did some operating 2 weeks ago in the southwest. The closest power lines were over 10 miles away. Many contacts with no S meter deflection. ____
