I acquired some used Rohn 45G in very good shape and will be going up 50 ft. Antenna will be stacked 2 x 9-el for 2m. I'm following the Rohn engineering guidance very closely: base is a new R-SB45G b

...and for the short R45 installs too. The 40 and 50 ft Rohn setups specify a single 1/4 in EHS cable. Heights of 60 ft and above use a combination of 3/16 and 1/4 in EHS.  Sure is confusing! Mike -S

John: My calipers shows 0.55 inch diameter for the hole in the torque bar, so it looks like the bigger shackle will fit. It sure doesn't inspire me that Rohn can't provide an explanation for why they
