I would just short out the unused ports with shorted connectors unless there is a possibility of transmitting into them accidentally. Of course you would want to fully weatherize all the connectors.

I know a ham who uses the PVC electrical "sweeps" instead of pulleys. I haven't tried that myself, but it seems like a good idea IF the sweep isn't attached to something that moves such as a tree. Ch

I've read somewhere that traps should be tuned below the band of interest. Then adjust the loading wire to compensate. That reduces the extremely high RF voltage across the trap. Charlie, N0TT ______
