Can someone provide a link to an example of this "better constructed solder type PL259" with the barrel for RG213 size coax? Thanks & 73, Barry N1EU _______________________________________________ __

The F12 C3S (25lbs on 12ft boom) does a great job. If you do put up that 40m dipole at 50ft, I'm willing to bet that it will often outperform the vertical. 73, Barry N1EU ____________________________

I'm not sure if Force12 still uses riveted construction of yagi elements. In any event, I just experienced my first rivet failure on my C3S (great timing, huh?) and would like to avoid repeating this

Unfortunately, it might be a week or two before I can get the AB-577 down to look at the C3S and assess the rivet failure. Before I "just put a new one in", I'd like to know how to avoid having to "j

Steve, it was a balun for matching their quads and delta loops to 50-ohm coax and was magically compact (~3in diam X 2in high). Perhaps I need to find one and dissect it. Barry N1EU _________________

I chiseled the LB matching xfmr apart and Steve G3TXQ and Joe W4TV were correct. It is a trifilar wound 2.25:1 unun. Evidently LB felt a balun was unnecessary (?). Barry N1EU ________________________

I should have mentioned that in the photo, the right two shots of the mast clamp show zero damage to the mast clamp itself. The left shot shows the one damaged bolt hole on the rotor itself. ________

The original bolts are lost now but the GC-038 doc calls out M8 X 25mm long bolts. The holes are deeper - there's still probably a half inch or more of threaded hole deeper than what is broken off on
