my manually operated ( switched) motorized mdpl72 us tower does not have such safeguards.... Sooo when i built my own remote i did put some 5$ ebay delay relays to control the big motor relays... ..

moving my tower gave me a chance to change the 2800 mast clamp to the one from XLC. It does not use the mast centering "pyramid" so i need to shift the thrust bearing, so the mast sits on the 2800 pl

The tower is 130 feet from the house, the cables coming down from the crank up, off the tower into a cabinet where the different polyphasers are affixed to the bussbar & ground lines to the 9 ground
