- Why not put the relays at the feedpoint, shorting out a small coil or loop for SSB and open for CW. Would need a little higher current rating but would be easier to feed power to relays. Jim Rhodes K

- You have to realize that the soil conductivity would change over a large area,not just under the tower. This would have the effect of raising ground level at the fresnel(sp?) point. Jim Rhodes KC0XU
