I am using an MFJ 994BRT which is similar but 1/2 the power rating of the MFJ 998RT. (I got it used for $150 from a fellow MARS member who didn't use it anymore) I use it for USAF MARS ALE operations

Does anyone know if a Yaesu G-2800 DXA will fit into the top section of an LM-470D motorized crank-up tilt-over tower where a Yaesu G-1000 DXA now is installed (dimensions) ? 73, Terry / W1TR : ) _

I use #10 Stranded Insulated Wire from the hardware store... I buy it in 500 ft rolls and have it on hand for antenna construction and repair. I make a loop in the end of the wire and use a rope loop
