The rule of thumb on depth of light poles in the ground is 10% of the height of the pole plus one foot, i.e. 6 feet for a 50 foot pole, 12 feet for a 110 foot pole. Joe W4AAB ________________________

Back in the 1970's, I had sections of both in a tower. The rule of thumb among those who put up Rohn towers then(locall) was that the 25G sections would be used at the bottom of the tower and the 20G
