1/2 or 5/8 nylon braided yacht type stuff.. marine supply type stores.. this stuff is very very easy to handel.. easy on your hands, has a very low stretch rate .almost nil.. but kinda pricy.. seems

I experienced the same situation with my HyGain 72' .. HyGain was out of stock.. went to my friendly local machine shop.. had three made from stainless steel .. still have 2 extras.. go for it.. mac/
