I put my A3 with A743 dipole in the air in 1984 and it's still there with the truss rope intact. I'll be taking it down later this year to put up a new SteppIR in it's place. I've been curious about

You might try www.thewireman.com/rotorp.html. Their part #305 has (6) #16 and (2) #12 wires. If you buy 400' it is $0.96/ft. Unfortunately, you have to pay for the #12 wires that you don't need. 73,

No joke! It was a serious question and I was hoping for some serious answers. Specifically, how much movement is normal for the top of a 100' Rohn 25G tower. 73, Clay W7CE -- Original Message -- From

Exactly! The tree is much stronger and more flexible than a steel tower. I can't begin to estimate the wind load that the branches present, but it is probably measured in 100's of sq. ft. 73, Clay W

Both the RCS-8V and the Ratpak use an indentical looking relay with the same part number on them. It's possible that they are a standard part that has been customized differently for the companies,

The same could be said for an antenna farm consisting of multiple monobanders. Not a cheap investment when you consider the cost of the antennas plus two or more towers to put them all on. Question:

Yagi performance is a function of boom length, not the number of elements. There are limits to this generalization and it all depends on your definition of performance. Two elements on a 34' boom (fo
