Agreed Roger! They work well in any type of soil or rock. The theory is to dissipate the strike energy to as much earth as possible. Radials, with properly spaced ground rods are a good way to go! 73

I had a LP-100. Sold it and bought another Array Solutions. Didn't like how the peak reading worked. And it was difficult to tune an amplifier with it. For my use, the Array was better for this. 73 J
