Gary, To fit a tailtwister inside of an LM-470, you need to add a spacer underneath the rotor plate to raise it up about 1 1/2 inches. A piece of angle iron is what the factory used to supply. It had

Skip is absolutely correct. You will need to raise it off the plate an Inch or two. The 64K Question. Has anyone fitted an M2 2800 Rotor in the 470 crankup? I plan to replace my T2X with one of these

The plate on mine rest on the z braces not the clamp on type, so you cant adjust its location. It goes in only one way. I raised the rotor above the plate with couple pieces of square Channel Thanks
