It is difficult to make a single choke for 40 to 6m but it is easy to put two in series on the feedline. The K9YC tutorial has designs for 40 to 10m and 6m. I like using multiple type 43 or 31 small

As I was reading the post I was wondering if you could use ferrites of different mix in the same choke/balun? Would that work or not? I've read Jim's/K9YC excellent paper on chokes and baluns, but I

It could work for two chokes in series, as shown in the CMC-230-5K. But since the ferrite materials are not specified for this product, it's hard to say what they're using. It would make sense to use
