I just purchased a used/never used Alpha Spid Rotator and am wondering if anyone has any lessons learned that they would like to share. I am upgrading from a T2X and am looking forward to the increas

I made this transition recently, after years of T2X headaches. I have two observations: 1. Some folks (not me) have had issues with the mounting bolts loosening up. I would recommend either using Loc

After years of T2X problems, I too made the switch about 7 years. I ordered the BIG RAK along with a Green Heron controller. I have no complaints about either item. Turns my array just fine in all ty

I would second the GH controller recommendation as well.  Lot of granular control on the ramp up and ramp down rates which is handy if you have a big load on the rotor.  Have two GH here for my two S

For longer cables runs you should use Ohm's law to calculate voltage drop to ensure that your rotator has the proper voltage for torque and speed. I use home electric wire, THHN which is available in

I am having a hard time being convinced that the Alpha Spid controller is unreliable.  What if I don't get a Green Heron control box and decide to go with the Alpha Spid controller ?Is is safe to say

We have two Big RAKs at N6RO that have been turning a pair of shorty 4-el 40m Yagis for many years. We use their controllers with the two-button mouse interface. All you have to do is pay attention w
