What about a 4 pin modular plug/jack?  Like used for a phone handset. 4 pin DIN connector? just plug in. 9 pin sub-D, with locking bails (rather than jack screws) ___________________________________

You can get panel mount sets of powerpoles too (or the bracketry to hold them in a panel).  I don't know if you can get a block or row of 4, but I've done pairs. PowerWerx is a decent source for this

Any connector, including sealed ones, will get wet outdoors if you're disconnecting the two halves during inclimate weather. Some connectors like flat trailer plugs do not appear to be bothered much
