A synthetic lube is probably the best, but an expensive alternative. Hub City's gear reducers (as used on US Towers) recommends thier p/n 8-58-00-01-011 which I believe is Exxon-Mobile's SHC634 synth

Hi Charles, I also have a used Tri-Ex HZE-354 motorized crank-up tower but no manual. Do you have one? I need to re-cable the tower and would be willing to pay a fair price for a copy of the manual.
