Why not use some long 1-1/2 inch U-bolts to attach to the legs? A piece of thin wall PVC, slit lengthwise, can be placed over the leg to protect the leg and provide a better fit for the 1-1/2 inch U-

Here is what I use: 1 - 7-8' 2x3 or 2x4 1 - 2' 2x3 or 2x4 (actually just make it 6" wider than the width of your tower. Sandwich the two 2x3s with a piece of 1" (actually 3/4") stock in between. Then
