- I used exactly the same approach. To clamp the stainless to the tower, I used stainless U-bolts. They hold the copper ground wire in place, thereby isolating the copper from the galvanized tower leg.

- You can cut 24ga SS with snips and you could also use thinner material which is really easy to cut. You really don't need that many clamps and buying a small piece of stainless steel is expensive, so
