hurting the tower? I've picked up 90 feet of 45G laying on the ground slung from the top of the tower with no problem. 55G would be heavier so you might consider 80' of it as a safe limit. Do a test

Yo, My friend, the crane guy, clean lifted 70' of Rohn 55 over to me atop 40" of already erected tower that had a rotating tower bearing at the 50' level of the section that went on top. No problems

Iv'e picked up 90 feet of 55 with no problems and have seen 200 feet of 55 laid over from vertical to horizontal. I wouldn't try the second. Bill KH7XS ______________________________________________
