Correct, the TX2 has a 3 square bolt pattern, and the Yaesu has 3.3. Drilling a hole right next to the existing ones is going be tough, since they will overlap a bit. Make a template with graph paper

45 degrees doesnt work because of the pattern of the TX-2 (which is basically an 8 bolt pattern, minus two bolts). You are best rotating 22.5 degrees, which puts you half way between the TX-2 pattern
