According to the drawings and instructions that came with my HDX555, the plug that is in line with whichever shaft is uppermost is the oil level plug: 90-wt gear oil should be added through the fille

I found the Hub City mianteance instructions on their web site (look at the metal name plate on the reducer, mine is model 321) and then bought the seals from Timken. To avoid damage of the replaceme

I have some very recent experience with Hub City and their speed reducing gearboxes. I actually had the bronze gear fail due to the rusted steel worm gear eating it up...and this was AFTER I flushed
