Well i started a strange problem on my 40 mt yagi rotor this week. push the brake release and i get ac hum in the ts 870. switched it to the ts 950sdx and does the same thing. thought it was the cap

I had the "hum" problem right after I switched from a quad to a beam antenna....nothing else was changed. I would hear it in the receiver regardless of band or mode. It is a ground loop. Right or wro
