My HG70HD "screeches" pretty loudly in various elevations when cranking up or down. I'm not sure if that means a bent section or what, but I would like some input from the list. It is topped with a 4

My HDX5106 made horrible noises and it turned out to be the lead screw for the cable guide for the pulley. A liberal coating for grease and the noise completely went away. Try oiling everything that

My TriEx W51 did the same and it turned out the problem was in the Fulton winch. Replaced the winch and no more problems. Tried just the disc pads bu that didn't work so I replaced the whole winch. M

I would try and check the pulley's, I can't imagine any of the sections would get bent in a 70 MPH wind with such light loading antenna wise. If it did we are all in trouble hi hi. Mike, K6BR My HG70
