I am in Chicago (very bad place to be now), and I have a Butternut HF-9VX. Is it normal when ice is on the antenna for the SWR and resonant frequency points to change? I really can't get to the anten

CEDRICK.. WE HAD AN ICE STORM HERE IN MISS A FEW YEARS BACK..tHE ICE MAKES MAJOR CHANGES ON THE BUTTERNUT.. AT THAT TIME I DIDN'T HAVE THE 12 AND 17 MTR COILS INSTALLED AND WITH THE ICE THE BUTTERNUT
