I am in the process of putting up a 100' stick of Rohn 45G. Originally I planned on standard Rohn guying - 3/16" for the bottom two guys and 1/4" for the top - for Rev G. Does anyone have experience

I did that exact thing. I used a sinble link from a 3/8" (could have been 1/2") chain. Just cut them apart at the hardware store. Put a thimbal for the Philly and the 3/16 on it and away you go. My P

My 100'Rohn 25 tower has a bottom guy set 3/16 EHS, middle guy set 3/16 EHS with 21-foot rigid fiberglass insulators on the tower end, and top guys 6600 lb Phillystran with 15' of EHS at the bottom.

Here in Texas where it gets dry, we usually run Phillystran for most of a guy to a turnbuckle and for the 10-20 feet nearest the ground run wire. Phillystran will melt in a fire. Gary J N5BAA HCARC S
