I have a 500 gallon propane tank planned for my new house in Lake Havasu City AZ. There are no provisions for grounding. Both the builder and the propane company say that nothing is required. Warren;

Hello Warren Depending on what version of the code your municipality uses, the tank may not need to be grounded.However there should be a section in the Fuel/Gas code that requires a bond on the pipi

Ummm, the pipe to my new tank is plastic. They did bury a tracer wire above it so pipe locators can track it. It was in the same trench I buried power from the house to garage in and I specifically
